Our beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom 'Lakeside' vacation home is situated on the prestigious, gated Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club with its well-renowned championship golf course rated 4.5 stars by Golf Digest and 6th best in Florida. If you are looking for that special home with a fantastic view, then look no further! It is perfect for relaxing on those days away from the theme parks and shopping, and ideal for golfers wanting to play one of the top championship courses in Florida. Our pool has absolutely fantastic unobstructed views over the 5th green and the lake beside it. There are no homes behind to overlook the pool while you are enjoying the wonderful Florida sunshine! We have recently upgraded most of the furniture to an exceptional standard. This is truly a luxurious home from home. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, ensuite shower room and a dressing room, the second bedroom has a full size bedroom with new furniture and there is also a beautiful 'Mickey' themed twin bedroom for our younger guests or those young at heart! Guests have complimentary use of all Southern Dunes leisure facilities including communal pools, children's play area, tennis courts and clubhouse with restaurant and bar. (A green fee is payable for golf)
Our fully air conditioned spacious 'Lakeside' vacation home sleeps up to 8. It is tastefully decorated and we have furnished it to an exceptionally high standard. WE HAVE RECENTLY UPGRADED MANY ITEMS OF FURNITURE We have installed a High Speed Wireless Internet Connection for guests to keep in touch with work, friends and family back home. Just bring your own laptop and use it either inside our home or while you are relaxing by the pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, cooker, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, blender, microwave, large fridge/freezer with ice maker and all the crockery and cooking utensils you will need. The family room has a sofa, a sofa sleeper, cocktail and end tables, cable TV, DVD player and a selection of DVD's, Video, CD, Radio/Cassette, books and the dining area with new dining table and 6 chairs. There is a downstairs toilet and washbasin. Our beautiful private south facing swimming pool (with optional heating) looks out over the fifth green and the lake beside it, so it is very private from behind. The views are EXCEPTIONAL. It is screened to keep the insects out but allows the sun in. There are sun loungers for relaxing (with padded cushions), and a table and chairs for eating outside. There is an area under cover if you prefer the shade. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, bedside drawers, dressing table and cable TV. It has a shower room with shower, WC and vanity unit leading to a dressing room/closet. The bedroom has stunning views over the lake. Bedroom 2 has a full size bed, cable TV, bedside table, dresser and large built in closet. Bedroom 3 is themed as a 'Mickey' bedroom. It has two twin beds, a Mickey cable TV, Playstation 2 and a selection of games, children's board games and large built in closet. The bathroom has a bath with shower above, toilet and vanity unit. Hairdryers, Stair Gates, Travel Crib, Highchair, Towels, Pool Towels and Bed Linen are provided. A washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are located in the integrated garage. There is also a superb 9 - in - 1 Games Table. 2 Mountain Bikes, 2 Tennis Racquets and a BBQ are available for your use free of charge. The phone has free calls (excluding calls to cell phones). No Smoking and No Pets Our management company is available 24 hours a day for emergencies. It is a wonderful location for the perfect vacation. Located on a fantastic Championship Golf Course, with complimentary use of their leisure facilities including Tennis Courts, Communal Pools, Children's Play Area and Clubhouse with Restaurant and Bar. Within 2 minutes there is a 24 hour Wal-Mart superstore, shops, restaurants, fast food outlets, fuel, pharmacy, Blockbuster video and banks. Golf Information- Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club is an ideal location for golfing vacations or for non-golfers to visit Disney and the other major attractions of Florida. Disney World is just 20 minutes away by car. The Gulf coast beaches are within easy reach. Situated just off Highway 27, Southern Dunes golf course was opened in 1993 and is rated 4.5 stars by Golf Digest. It is listed in the 'Top 100 Modern Golf Courses to play in America' (at 51st) by Golf Week magazine, is in the 'Top 10 Golf Courses Built in the Last 10 years' by Links magazine and is ranked Number 6 in Florida by Golf Week. The course offers players of all abilities the chance to play one of the most challenging and beautiful courses in Central Florida. It is over 7200 yards long and has become a favourite with both local and visiting golfers. There are five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of varying abilities. It features an elevation change of 100 feet, which is unusual for a Florida golf course, and it is beautifully maintained. There is a pro golf shop and impressive clubhouse and bar. On-course beverages and snacks are available throughout the day from the travelling beverage cart. There are also a great many other top golf courses within a 20 minute drive of Southern Dunes.
